Aaron Soule
Principal
Aaron is a strategically minded, values-based leader with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, operations, and continuous organizational improvement. He has expertise in, and a passion for, financial strategy and analysis, budgeting, accounting, process improvement, and system implementation. Aaron can best be described as a motivated leader with intellectual curiosity, a life-long learning attitude, creativity, integrity, and thoughtful detail.
Aaron earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Bethel University, his Bachelor’s of Art (BA) in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. He began his career in public accounting, with experience in both tax and audit. Aaron has since worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, ranging from 15 employees to over 700, with budgets of $3M to over $60M. He has overseen and led small and large teams through financial and operational efforts at each level of an organization.
Aaron’s career is marked by a successful track record of cleaning up and bringing order to difficult financial and operational situations. He has had the privilege to then shape and implement financial and operational strategies for an organization’s future. He has led many technology efforts to implement software systems, and work flow processes in order to streamline financial and operational responsibilities. He has also led or been involved with numerous divisional, and organizational, strategic planning processes.
Aaron founded Three Rivers Consulting, LLC with a desire to use his skills and experience to help enhance progress, forward thinking, and development in small to mid-sized organizations. He seeks to walk along-side organizations, providing customized solutions and resources to build financial integrity, operational excellency, and sustainable growth.
Aaron is a strong community advocate with a heart and passion for supporting local charities and non-profit organizations with his time and resources. Aaron is a firm believer in servant leadership and considers it an honor to be a part of building the quality of life and community in the region. Aaron lives in Scandia, MN, a northern suburb of the Twin Cities, with his wife and three children.
